The team's not that far off.
Biggest issue IMO is the Defense. You can't win big with our current D-Men.

kane never consistently worked well with Eichel...i'd like to see him get a shot on the o'reilly line...as for Foligno, drop him to the third or fourth line, but keep him in the pk mix |

Ristolainen seems to enjoy putting up 1/3 of his points during one week every season.

Ennis seems to be skating 100% last night. Made some moves that had me wondering wth that was .
Not saying they are right. But he has some learning to do. |

I think he's hiding some injury. He doesn't look quite the same. He had to be a pretty good 5 v 5 player last year. |

at this point i'd take carrier...at least he can keep up and has a nose for the puck...plus I highly doubt you'd see him making a blind, between the legs pass in the o-zone that leads to a 3-on-2 break the other way and the puck in the back of their net |
